What is a Virtual Design Session?

A Virtual Design Session is a 1-hour video chat with me to discuss a specific space within your home, re-model or new-build. I will spend the time helping solve any dilemmas you may have or giving direction based on your style. You can choose the pace and what you want to focus on.

How much does it cost?

The cost for a 1-hour Virtual Design Session is $95. This also includes up to two text messages after the call if further advice is needed.

What are some examples of questions to ask?

What color should I paint this room? What color and size of area rug should I put under my table? What style of picture frames should I hang on my wall? How should I group them? How should I arrange my existing furniture? How do I style my mantle? What do I put on my built-in shelves? Can you help me create a “Pottery Barn” feel at Target prices?

Can I use items I already own?

Yes! I will always start with items you own and find the best way to use them within the space. By repurposing items it will save you time and money.

What happens after the Virtual Style Session?

I will email you a custom Pinterest board with product recommendations to refer to as you shop. I will offer suggestions of affordable items that fit your style: throw pillows, picture frames, plants, area rugs, light fixtures, paint, etc. You can purchase the exact items or use them as inspiration to find a similar item for your space. However it is completely optional for you to purchase anything.

Where should I shop?

Most people do not want to spend thousands of dollars on high-end furniture and home decor. Many of the suggested items come from Target, Overstock, Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, Wayfair, Lowes, World Market, IKEA and Amazon. Sometimes I will suggest a clearance item from a store like Pottery Barn or Rejuvenation.

What if I need more help?

If the 1-hour video chat and two text messages are not quite enough, you are always welcome to book additional time!
